ASIS International

ASIS International is the leading international body of security professionals, representing 35,000 members worldwide. The UK has a very active chapter of over 700 members.

The ARC Training International Academy for Security Management enjoys a particularly close relationship with the UK Chapter of ASIS International, particularly in its support of the Chapter’s educational and certification programmes.

David Cresswell, ARC’s MD, is Chairman of the UK Chapter’s Professional Development Committee and, through the ARC International Academy, offers review training for both the Physical Security Professional (PSP™) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP™) ASIS International certifications. The review programmes culminate with examinations each year in May (CPP™) and November (CPP™ and PSP™). For more information on these programmes click here.

Primarily aimed at UK security practitioners, the relationship with the International Academy means that PSP™and CPP™ training is open to the entire international ARC Training client base, courtesy of the UK ASIS International Chapter. Email Janet Ward for details.

At European level, David sits on the ASIS International European Advisory Committee Sub-Committee on Education, which is responsible on behalf of ASIS International for raising security education standards across Europe, where membership is growing rapidly and the demand for training is significant.
